Controller and information collected

Host Routecore, reachable at info@host-routecore.digital, is responsible for personal information handled through this website and our review engagements. Website enquiries may include name, email, review type, desired date, and scope message. Accepted engagements may require identity, financial, occupational, lifestyle, or health information specified in the written scope.

Why we use it

We use enquiry information to answer requests and prepare estimates. Engagement records are used to perform the agreed review, communicate the issue schedule, meet accounting and legal duties, protect rights, and maintain service security. Depending on context, processing rests on consent, contract, legal obligation, or legitimate interests recognised under South African law.

Sharing and safeguards

Access is restricted to authorised reviewers and necessary service providers under confidentiality and data-protection duties. We do not sell personal information. We disclose it to an adviser, applicant, or insurer only as authorised, or where law requires.

If a provider stores information outside South Africa, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards and assess the destination and provider. No internet transfer is risk-free; our secure handover instructions are designed to reduce exposure.

Retention

Unaccepted enquiry records are normally deleted after 12 months. Engagement working copies are normally deleted within 90 days after closure; final scopes, invoices, consent records, and issue schedules may be kept for five years where needed for legal, tax, or dispute purposes. A different period will be stated when the engagement requires it.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of personal information, and may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful use. We may need to verify identity. You may also complain to South Africa’s Information Regulator.
