Case note: one occupation, three descriptions

A self-employed client described the same work as consulting, project management, and site supervision in different records. None was necessarily false, but the mix could create uncertainty about duties and income source.

The review mapped each phrase to its source and flagged where the application could use one accurate principal description, followed by the real split between office and site work. The applicant took the issue back to the adviser and accountant. They—not Host Routecore—settled the final wording and supporting calculation.

Case note: an unanswered branch

An adviser requested a disclosure consistency read after an applicant added a treatment date late in the process. The main answer had changed to “yes”, but two conditional prompts beneath it remained blank.

Our issue schedule marked the exact page and prompts, along with a second date elsewhere that needed comparison. The form was returned to the applicant for completion before being sent to the insurer. The value of the review was not a prediction about underwriting; it was a complete trail through the form.
